In 2018, bank SLOVENSKÁ SPORITEĽNA supported our activities in the amount of EUR 5,000 from its endowment resources for the following activities:
At least 50 poor families (socially disadvantaged citizens of the Trnava region) underwent financial literacy training via the Internet in cooperation with SLSP employees in order to improve their standard of living – we succeeded in this goal, during the project we worked with 52 families through our professional staff (12 field social workers, 5 psychologists and 3 special pedagogues).
The final summer open-air charity event organized in cooperation with SLSP employees in Jánovce (Galanta district, Trnava region – guests Bekim, Pišta Vandal, Branislav Jóbus with Vrbovský winners and Kandráčovci were planned). Proceeds from the event (voluntary admission) will go to the completion of the Jánovce Community Center, as EU funds also assume 5% co-financing by us as a non-profit social organization and our philosophy is to provide services to clients free of charge. – due to the summer period, despite the plan of 800 participants, we did not manage to match the dates of all planned artists, so we held the event in September in a covered concert hall in Senec with the participation of 100 participants from the public. Mrs. Valašičová took part in the event on behalf of SLSP, who spoke about the support of SLSP for individuals and non-profit organizations helping people in poverty. Photos are attached to the final report.
Training materials and model situations of individual families will also be used for our further work of the community center as a social service and social and legal protection of children and youth. Purchased materials and equipment (office equipment for the computer and training room) will continue to be used in the planned newly built community center, which we should start building in the spring with the help of EU funds and where we plan to do social entrepreneurship training for our socially disadvantaged clients. and help them set up new social enterprises such as small and family businesses.
