The projects focus on social, psychological and psychotherapeutic individual and group professional help and support for families with a dependent member, while in many cases it is already a dependent child or a young person, not only a child at risk of a dependent parent or sibling.
This acute need is reported to us by Senca primary schools and secondary schools, pediatricians, UPSVR Senec and Pezinok, etc., who communicate with us on a long-term and intensive basis on the basis of previous cooperation. Project activities focus on:
- development of 7 social individual (3) and group programs (4) and professional methods of work with a focus on working with addictions
- expanding by 4 new elements of the measure for clients – drugs, alcohol, gambling, social media
- 3 new target groups – dependent children and youth or children and youth with a dependent family member and parents of a dependent child and youth The projects increase the number of clients for whom the implementation of the measure is ensured, the intensity of the implementation of measures increases.
In cooperation with academia, we involve FZaSP TRUNI social work researchers to clearly identify risk factors and critical points of addiction.
With a focus on Supporting the implementation of measures of social protection of children and social guardianship in an open environment and streamlining the resocialization of drug and other addictions – since the beginning of the project in 2017 we have a total of 253 clients (BSK – 120, TTSK – 133), ie in 2018 110 new clients (BSK – new 55, TTSK – new 55).
